Policy work & Public Engagement

Beyond academia, I am deeply committed to public and policy engagement. I dedicate a significant part of my time to media outreach, collaboration with elected politicians, policymakers and civil society actors, and the production of policy-relevant work. My aim is to contribute to informed public debate and to help shape more inclusive and effective climate action through accessible, research-based insights. 

Policy reports

• Policy brief: “Backlash écologique : quel discours pour rassembler autour de la transition ? ”, Fondation Jean Jaurès (April, 2024)

Policy brief on the climate backlash offering 12 evidence-based recommendations on how to build a desirable transition. Presented to MEPs in Brussels, heads of NGOs (e.g. Climate Action Network), members of the French government and parliament, and journalists (e.g. article in the main French newspaper Le Monde; interview on the first French radio, France Inter; elements in the Politico newsletter, etc.).    

• Policy report: “Les Français, la bagnole et l’écologie : comment réussir le crash test ?”, with Transport & Environment, Fondation Jean Jaurès (May, 2025)

Policy report (15 pages) exploring the current backlash to the green transition of individual mobility and offering a range of policy recommendations to decision-makers. Presented to MPs, members of the government and a range of organisations. Mentioned across several French media.
